I wanted to be a war correspondent, but something drew me to film directing, and I later realized it was another way to approach the stories that mattered to me. Working in film has allowed me to travel, immerse myself in diverse cultures, and learn to see from different perspectives. I am a screenwriter and director, a member of the Spanish Film Academy, and I combined my studies in Barcelona, Madrid, and New York with work on film sets alongside directors such as Carlos Saura, with whom I was second assistant director. I lived in New York, where I directed some of my most personal projects. Photography is also one of my passions. I approach each project with a curious and open mindset, always seeking new ways to tell stories and explore the boundaries of cinematic language.
